Our Matching Process

Family Choice has created a proprietary matching system, called Perfect Choice, that will better match the goals and outcomes of both the Intended Parent(s) and the Surrogate. This allows us to create more successful matches and alleviate some of the later legal negotiations and philosophical differences that can potentially break down a match relationship later down the journey.

Our Qualification Process

Family Choice has a strict qualification process for our carriers. All gestational carriers must meet, at a minimum, the ASRM guidelines.  In addition, our carriers have completed medical records review, criminal background checks, health insurance review, and are psychologically cleared BEFORE we present them to Intended Parents for matching.

Surrogate Mentor Program

Family Choice has established a surrogate mentor program to guide our surrogates through their journeys.  Every approved surrogate candidate will be paired with a mentor to support them on their journey. Our mentors are surrogates who have completed at least one journey with our agency and have been educated on the FCS process and approach. They are passionate about helping others navigate surrogacy and can offer advice and support from first-hand experience. 

Foundations of Surrogacy

Family Choice has created a proprietary education program that all surrogates will be required to complete as a part of their qualification process. This program provides comprehensive education about the surrogacy process. Upon completion, surrogates will have the knowledge and information to embark on this life-changing journey.

Personal Touch and Understanding

Family Choice will be there to navigate Intended Parents and Surrogates through every step of the way. FCS Program Director, Leah Potter, has intimate knowledge of the process as someone who has experienced her own infertility journey. This invaluable perspective ensures that Intended Parents and Surrogates are as prepared as possible and offers an unmatched level of insight and support to the parties.

Unlike many agencies, Family Choice does not employ legal counsel who represents one party. We work with independent legal partners to ensure all parties are represented, enabling us to remain a neutral guide for all involved.
